ABOUT LIGHTS ON CHILDREN
Lights On Children is an NPO dedicated to help the children in need of social support. The involvement of businesses and individuals is a key factor in our activities.
Here, “the children in need of social support” refers to the children whose parent is unable to raise them because he/she is either too abusive, too poor or too sick. There are more than 35,000 children in Japan in such conditions, and they are raised in children’s homes, infant homes, households of foster parents and the like (social care).
Lights On Children is contributing to the development and independence of such children through our projects.
